      Spending the afternoon napping sounds like a good thing to do, too. DH gets a long weekend this weekend, so I'm excited to have the extra day with him. I would love to visit Hawaii, if I could get there any other way than by boat or plane, but I wouldn't want to live there. I love the four seasons too much to give up!

        I'm not very good at napping, but some down time to read is almost as good! I don't get a long weekend this weekend, but the three after that I do! Ugh, the flight to Hawaii is miserable, but TOTALLY worth it. If I ever missed the snow, I could fly back to Ohio...

      You have a great handle on the answers today, dear niece!!! Hawaii sounds pretty wonderful today when the winds are howling and snow blowing. Ugh.

        No wind yet, but we've got a little snow and more on the way. I am over it. I admit it is pretty, but Columbus drivers tend to freak out...

      Being retired the only way we know it is the weekend is because the kids come over instead of going to work or school. It is a long weekend every week.

      I've actually read one book already this year. I am halfway to reading as many books as I did last year! I am hoping to get at least 4 done this year. big goals, right?
      My hubby just asked me how I'd feel about moving to Hawaii. Um, ...wait....what?
      I am not sure if he is teasing me. And surprisingly, I am not sure if I could actually leave my family here - even for tropical weather all year round. I asked him about just a six month job assignment that just happened to coincide with our winter months? ha

        It's the little things! Like an afternoon reading- come on Friday! Taking a personal day and still sending the kid to the babysitter so a day of reading it is!
